With the Support of GIZ, the WAAPO program team has been attended a two-day technical training session on resource mobilization strategy. The overall aim of the workshop is to support WAAPO organization technical to team to develop a 3-years organizational resource mobilization strategic documents which will last 3-year period from Jun, 2024- December, 2027.
During this training, WAAPO staff had the valuable opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills regarding the effective resource mobilization strategies, and ways to obtain sustainable resources beyond the life time of the project by having a strategic guide for the organization to acquire alternative resources.
The training provided them with valuable insights and strategies that they could apply in their work. By learning effective resource mobilization techniques, the staff felt more equipped to identify and leverage available resources to support WAAPO’s initiatives. The training also enabled them to develop a deeper understanding of the various approaches and best practices in resource mobilization, empowering them to effectively engage stakeholders and secure the necessary support for their projects.
Finally, the training significantly strengthened the WAAPO staff’s skills and confidence in mobilizing resources, and we have developed detailed work-plan and organization strategic papers; which were assigned to be drafted a full package of the organizational resource mobilization strategic documents in 3-week period.
