With the support of UNICEF, WAAPO has been implementing Community care project for a period of 2-year. The overall aim of the project promotes positive social believe/norms and change negative community attitude towards social norms for the community affected by crise, hard-to-reach location and displaced communities.
The main of objective of the project is to foster healthier, safer, and more peaceful communities, particularly for women and girls. We achieve this by collaborating with local communities to enhance access to care and support for survivors of Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG).
During the reporting period, the project has been stablished a 4-CDLs representative in four communities and facilitated 288 community dialogue sessions followed community declaration events. A total of 6520 representatives from elder, police, youth, women’s groups, and general communities were reached. Thus, the project has been conducted baseline & endline survey to study about the change and learnings.
